Tweed Farms Licensed Marijuana Producer

Tweed Farms Inc.

Tweed Farms Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tweed Marijuana Inc., both of which are federally licensed medical marijuana producers in Ontario. Tweed Farms Inc. is a 350,000 square-foot greenhouse located in Southwestern Ontario’s famous wine region, Niagara-On-the-Lake. The state-of-the-art growing facility was originally constructed in the early 1990s as a vegetable and herb farm. Before the Tweed Farm became an Ontario medical marijuana producer, they cultivated produce for grocery stores throughout Southwestern Ontario – chances are, you’ve already enjoyed a high-quality product grown at Tweed Farms.

Tweed Farms has a second building at their Niagara-On-the-Lake site that is specially designed for harvesting and processing. In 2016, they successfully completed the largest legal cannabis harvest in Canadian history, which Tweed Canada proudly refers to as the “Great Canadian Cannabis Harvest of 2016”.

Tweed Farms weed is exclusively sold through the Tweed Canada website; look for the Tweed Farms Greenhouse-Grown logo on select products.

Worst service I have ever experienced. If you're looking for CBD oil, they have had it in stock for all of 3hrs since I've joined. If you're a canadian aboriginal, please save yourself the headache and find a different provider.

100% of there work force is elderly (~50-75) year old, extremely poor, immigrant Asians who are BUSED to and from the green house every day for their shift from 6:30am-1:30pm. These people are exploited, for hours on end their task is to pick all the leaves from each of the ~3000 plants while their nylon gloves fill with sweat. They perform this task day after day while the predominately Caucasian group of around 12 individuals see over the operation, as well as preform other operations, mainly (A) Spraying a "Broad Spectrum Foliar Fungicide" called "MilStop" on the plants, while YELLING at the HUNDREDS of poor elderly Asian workers (who don't understand English at all) to put on their mask after the fact of spraying it. (B) SHOOTING birds that get into the green house with a make-shift blow gun (They attach a pipe to the pesticide spraying air pump and load a rock into the pipe...).Pipes within the greenhouse are wrapped with exposed foam and fiberglass insulation centimeters away from the plants. It's sad to see.Don't support this. The address is posted, go and see for your self.

Overpriced and inconsistent product. My wife tried a variety of their product and was not impressed. Switched to Aphria a while back and she has been happy since. The Aphria oils are priced much better then Canopy.

In the three months that I have been a patient, they have had the 2.5 milligram gel cap that they call Baker Street available for exactly two days! My initial order was on the 16th of October, I have yet to receive an update as to when they will be getting the product back, nor are they able to tell me if they will be producing a like product. When you were prescribed medical marijuana by your physician, and you are not looking to get high, rather calm the symptoms of your PTSD and anxiety, you expect the products to be available. I understand a few days shortage here and there, but three months shortage is absolutely ridiculous! And when calling them to request an alternative product, this suggests that you smoke. Who the hell wants to smell you are a pothead? How do you professionally get through life smelling like weed? Could you imagine going to your pharmacist and this is the alternative they give you? And absolutely and utterly disgusted with the customer service and inability to get product from this company. I am up for Renewal with my physician on the 6th of January and you better bet your ass I'll be looking for somewhere else to go. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're nothing more than a pothead. Don't expect this to be a solution for your medical condition as they are unable to keep the product available to you!! DISGRACEFUL!!!

Try to hold your prescription and card hostage until you pay them an exorbitant amount of money. Try and scam you into paying to renew your prescription each year, these people are joke. They give the medical community a bad name and are just money grubbing thieves. MedReleaf isn't much better but less of a chip on their shoulder and better customer service. Tweed is a money machine, it would be like the US govnt putting Anheuser-Busch in charge of all beer distribution in the US, would turn to monopolistic chaos. Health Canada is doing a piss-poor job regulating this new cartel, they should ensure patient safety and care is of the upmost importance, not revenue generation. Stupid Liberals, always messing up a good thing helping their crooked friends get rich on the backs of the tax payer.
