Vortex Strain Definition

Vortex is a Sativa dominant strain that has the ratio 80%:20%. It is produced by crossing Apollo 13 and Space Queen. In 2010, Vortex won the Cannabis Cup Award for being a medical aid. It has a THC level of 18% and neon-green buds that are frosted with crystals and hair. The popularity of this cannabis plant is also attributed to its fruity- a mix of mango and tropical punch- taste and aroma. It can be used as a day time strain to alleviate discomfort associated with migraines, depression, anxiety, stress and insomnia.
