Golden Goat Strain Definition
This Sativa-dominant hybrid strain consists of a ratio of 70% Sativa to 30% Indica and was created by accident when a male Hawaiian X Romulan cannabis strain inadvertently pollinated the female Island Sweet Skunk strain, producing what we now know as Golden Goat (named after gold-like hairs found in its appearance). Golden Goat has a THC content level of 16-23% with a modest CBD level of 1.07%. Its aroma is described as a mix of sweet and sour with a hint of spice, and flavour reminiscent of tropical fruit. Effects provide a strong cerebral high that is slow in onset and boosts energy, creativity and social enjoyment, but may cause racing thoughts and an increased heart rate. It also has slight pain reduction properties due to its Indica traits. Medical uses include the treatment of chronic pain, depression, nausea and loss of appetite.
