GDP Strain Definition
Grand Daddy Purple (GDP) is an Indica-dominant hybrid strain with a THC content level ranging around 17-27%. Its lineage stems from the crossbreeding of Big Bud and Purple Urkle, both being relatively popular Indica-heavy strains that give GDP a pronounced grape/berry like taste and aroma. Effects are described to give users a potent psychoactive experience for both mind and body while promoting a sense of cerebral euphoria and physical relaxation. Being mostly Indica, GDP can be highly sedative and induce an insatiable hunger. Medical uses include the treatment of chronic pain, depression, appetite loss and insomnia.
